Within the framework of continuous expansion that the cultivation of blueberries has been experiencing worldwide in terms of surfaces and consumer interest, specifying in Spain, where historically the province of Huelva has stood out as the area with the greatest productive boom of this fruit, the one that has been developing towards other agricultural zones of the country and regions of Europe. For this reason, the 2nd edition of international seminars organized by Blueberries Consulting in Spain will be held in Madrid on October 30 of this year. This city is the strategic meeting point capable of bringing together the north and south of the country, as well as other European actors in this area, providing direct advice from international experts and researchers to decision-making tables.
This meeting is part of the second cycle of activities of 2018 and is aimed at producers, exporters, professionals, advisers, researchers and authorities of public or private entities related to the production and export of blueberries.
It will have the participation of leading national and international exhibitors and will be the appropriate instance for attendees to resolve and raise concerns to specialists, thus being able to discuss topics of interest, study and analyze how the market for this fruit has developed International level in recent times, as well as discuss about the genetic improvement of some varieties, nutrition issues, growth regulators, biostimulants and the importance of irrigation in the development of this crop.
