Mexico: The expansion of "berries" in Jalisco stands out

The official commented that in the municipality of Jocotepec this phenomenon of the cultivation of berries arises, "In the south there is an impressive amount that there is right now, but in the Valles area, here through the municipalities of Ameca, Etzatlán and Tala, two years ago there was not a hectare, right now there are already as 600 or 700 hectares".
He stressed that the companies that sell berries have been an example of organizations responsible for social security and the observance of environmental standards in the entity's plantations.
He affirmed that the berries, in addition to their direct impact on the field, “where Jalisco has national leadership in the production of blueberries and raspberries, economic spills are also in favor in other sectors such as transport, logistics, etc.".
"Mexico currently exports berries to 32 countries, while the main destinations are: United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, Italy, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia“, he finished.
