Exports of Chilean blueberries

Chile's season has already left behind the peak of exits and faces the final third of volumes. Thus, shipments of the 08 week decreased to 2.302 tons, accumulating to date a total of 107.827 tons, 3% more than the previous year in the same week. The fall observed in the exports of this last week, although it responds to the period of seasonal end of the Chilean supply, was also influenced by the rainfall registered in the southern area of the country, the main supply area at the moment.
In line with the above, organic blueberries totaled only 269 tons during the 08 week, being mostly destined for North America. The accumulated to date sum 13.235 tons to date, 39% more than the previous campaign to the same date.
