Ecoculture Biosciences quintupled its results in Huelva with the start of the strawberry and blueberry campaign
The Almeria company Ecoculture Biosciences is experiencing significant growth in Huelva, coinciding with the recent start of the campaign of strawberry and blueberry, thanks to the excellent results achieved during the previous campaign in several crops of these fruits in this province.
These good results reaped in strawberry and blueberry crops, where Ecoculture products provide concrete solutions to specific problems, have led Huelva farmers to increase their demand for them to the Almeria company since the beginning of the campaign, with the in order to avoid this type of problem. In this way, Ecoculture Biosciences has quintupled its sales in this province compared to a year ago.
During the last campaign, Ecoculture achieved decrease the incidence of soft tips in Fortuna strawberry, the favorite of many Huelva farmers for its precocity, productivity and balance throughout the production campaign, but was not safe from suffering damage and quality defects due to certain abiotic stress factors such as the lack of light, low temperatures or humidity. By applying products such as CalFlux, XStress and NHDelta, the Almeria firm reaped extraordinary results in Almonte, reducing this incidence of soft tips by up to 95%.
In addition, in other tests carried out in Almonte, Ecoculture got noticeably improve Rociera strawberry coloring in less time, with more uniformity, more intensity and more brightness, also reducing the incidence of cracking or cracking of fruit in the first floral bouquet, with foliar applications first of Blush and CalFlux and later of Blush and XStress, as well as applications of NHDeltaCa and NHDeltaK.
In blueberry, Ecoculture achieved reduce the wrinkle problem of the Ventura variety, after the previous year it presented a high incidence of fruits affected by this physiopathy, which arises in cold conditions and short days, typical of winter, and deficiencies in calcium and boron. With foliar applications of Rainbow Wave and XStress in bloom and CalFlux and Blush at the beginning of the coloring, and alternate roots of NHDeltaCa and NHDeltaK, the products of the Almeria company reduced this incidence.
