International Agriculture Show

The International Agricultural Show will be held from February 27 to March 6 of this year at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France.

Since its creation at 1964, the International Agriculture Show has become the main French agricultural event. With its more than 1000 exhibitors from 40 countries and 3000 animals, the show is a true showcase of agriculture in all its variety. Every year, for 9 days, near 700.000 visitors ascend the avenues of the Versailles Gate to the rhythm of daily animations.

The International Agriculture Show is composed of 4 sections: livestock and its sectors, with the most beautiful specimens of the 360 breeds exposed; French and foreign gastronomic products, which present a tour of the main French culinary traditions and allow discovering new flavors in the space «agricultures and delicacies of the world»; crops and vegetable industries, to know everything about large crops or cereals, wood, plants and flowers; the services and trades of agriculture, that allow deepening in the formations and the exits of the sector.

The room also includes the General Agricultural Contest. This contest selects and awards the best French products and wines and the best breeding animals. About 2000 breeders and producers attending the International Agriculture Show participate in each edition of the contest.
