The Premis Agro recognized the career of Alejandro Faus, founder of Projar, with the Lifetime Achievement Award

Yesterday the sixth edition of the Agro Awards organized by the newspaper THE PROVINCES with the collaboration of Patatas Aguilar, the Citrus Management Committee (CGC) and the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Water, Livestock and Fisheries and the sponsorship of Kiwa, Frutas Inma, the Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineers (ETSI) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and Tarazona.

These awards highlight the agri-food sector and recognise innovation, sustainability, the capacity for transformation and adaptation of companies, as well as the careers of women and men linked to the primary sector.

Among the winners, all of whom belong to leading companies in the Valencian agri-food sector, was our founder and president, Alexander Faus, who was recognized for his career of more than forty years in the industry, with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Projar company began its activity in Quart de Poblet, Valencia, more than four decades ago and today it is a consolidated company in the green sector with more than 300 employees in the different headquarters, branches and factories that it has located throughout the world.

In his speech, he recalled his beginnings in the sector and addressed the damage caused by the DANA, also pointing out how this has affected the headquarters in Quart de Poblet. He stressed the importance of staying united and working as a team in the face of adversities such as this, highlighting effort and dedication. He also highlighted the involvement of young people, whom he considered, without a doubt, the driving force of the future.
