Lima was painted blue ...

Not even the most optimistic of the predictions could have been the Lima success of the Second International Blueberries Seminar, organized by Blueberries Consulting and AGQ International last June 18.

Dozens of exhibitors adorned with their stands the halls and outdoor terraces of the JW Marriott, and more than 300 attendees filled the conference room of the Lima hotel, in the Miraflores neighborhood.

International experts, advisers and producers from Chile and Peru, talked with the fraternity about their experiences in the cultivation of blueberries and the commercial projections for the product in the immediate future. Peruvians and Chileans shared with foreign rapporteurs who delivered high quality knowledge for the nascent blueberry industry in Peru.

There were many presentations highlighted by the attendees, who were also impacted by the high level of organization and the quality of the technical data delivered by the experts.

It was possible to observe dozens of conversation groups in which representatives of government, international organizations, service companies, local producers and advisers participated on the comparative advantages offered by Peru for the cultivation of cranberry.

As a piece of miscellaneous information, it should be noted that almost no one left before the end of the Seminar, although in parallel the soccer match of the national team of Peru with Venezuela was played for Copa America.

This is why even the most optimistic of the predictions could not have been the Lima success of the Second International Blueberries Seminar, organized by Blueberries Consulting and AGQ International last June 18.
