Boyacá Government summons blueberry producers to Workshop on updating the production chain
The Government of Boyacá through the Ministry of Agriculture and with the support of Agrosavia, invite entities of the agricultural sector, associations, associations, producers of plant material, technical assistants, marketers, exporters, suppliers of inputs and others involved in the cultivation of blueberries to participate in the first Workshop for updating research needs of the blueberry production chain in the department of Boyacá.
The meeting will be held next Thursday 3 of October of 2019, starting at 8 in the morning at the premises of the building of the Lottery of Boyacá, second floor auditorium, in the same will be advanced the necessary actions for the conformation and Registration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the committee responsible for the blueberry chain for Boyacá.
It should be noted that the production of blueberries in the department is increasing with a report close to the 140 hectares, with an increase in the last four-year period of more than 60% in the sowing of new crops, with the Central province being the fastest growing.
