Freshuelva will promote the quality of Huelva berries in a new edition of Fruit Attraction

La Association of Producers and Exporters of La Fresa de Huelva, Freshuelva, will once again be present in a new edition of Fruit Attraction, held in Madrid from October 8th to 10th, with the unconditional presence of red fruits from the province of Huelva.
For the appointment, Freshuelva will have a large 200 square meter stand located in pavilion 9 (9E06) which aims to once again be the epicentre of institutional meetings, as well as of meetings and contacts between companies working in different phases of the production and marketing chain of Huelva's red fruits.
In addition to Freshuelva, companies linked to the berry sector have once again firmly committed to their presence at the fair and will occupy around 1.000 square metres with their stands at Fruit Attraction 2024.
Once again, Hall 9 will be the venue for the majority of companies in the berry sector in the province of Huelva, where Freshuelva will also have an adjoining stand measuring 72 square metres, specifically 9F06, where the associated companies Frutas El Pinar, Pitayas de Andalucia, Fres Molinero, La Pirujita, Cofrelux and Domifres can set up shop and carry out their commercial activities.
Also with their own space in Hall 9, other associated companies will be attending a new event at the national and international fruit and vegetable sector's leading fair, such as Fresón de Palos, Moguer Cuna de Platero, Grufesa, Fruta de Andalucía, Plus Berries, Surexport, Doñana 1998, Euroberry, Flor de Doñana, SAT Algaida, Ideal Fruits, Masià Ciscar, Grupo Medina, Berryworld Group and Royal. The companies Frutas Borja y Garrido and García SCA will be at the SAT Frescitrus stand, and the company Bonafrú will be at the Unica Fresh stand.
Also in Hall 9 will be the breeding company created by different companies in the sector, Strawberries New Materials (FNM). Driscoll's in Hall 10, Frutas Esther and Frutas Maripi-Uniland in Hall 7 and El Pinar in Hall 5 complete the presence at the fair of the associated companies of Freshuelva.
Ultimately, the main objective of Freshuelva with its presence at Fruit Attraction is to continue seeking a greater projection of red fruits that will result in greater and better marketing in the national market for the different berries, for which in this edition of the fair a special emphasis will be placed on the healthy and nutritious qualities of berries, as well as on their gastronomic possibilities.
In this sense, it is important to highlight the clinical trials promoted by Freshuelva that are being carried out to study the beneficial effect that strawberry consumption has on health. And all this without giving up on a commercial work always present with an eye on the possible new markets that may open up for red fruits from Huelva, with special attention to the Chinese market, since the Canadian market has already been opened for strawberries and blueberries, and that Freshuelva will address within the framework of the intense B2B program that will be developed during the days of the event.
Freshuelva, which has been part of the organising committee since the first edition of Fruit Attraction, has underlined its support for the event, highlighting that, this year more than ever, the importance of attending this event is growing in parallel with the concerns, advances and future challenges that the soft fruit sector is constantly subjected to, such as labour and water for irrigation.
Fruit Attraction will celebrate its 16th edition with great fanfare, consolidating its position as the benchmark event for the sector at a global level. The fair, organised by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX and with Andalusia as the Guest Region, recorded the largest participation in its history with 2.146 exhibiting companies from 56 countries, which represents an increase of 7% compared to last year. 70.000 square meters of surface area and the expected attendance of more than 100.000 professionals from 145 countries.
For the first time, 10 pavilions at the Madrid Fairgrounds will host the wide range of fruit and vegetables that this edition brings together, which means an increase in occupancy of more than 9% compared to 2023.
