Freshuelva has the Ministry of Agriculture approve aid for the removal of blueberries

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAP) has included blueberries in the list of products susceptible to benefit from withdrawal assistance as a crisis management mechanism in the market, in which raspberry and strawberry already appear.

The efforts carried out by Freshuelva before the MAP have resulted in the inclusion of blueberries in Annex Vl referring to the 'Amounts of aid for the withdrawal of products not included in Annex IV of Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2017 / 891 '.

Royal Decree 501 / 2019 published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) and that the Council of Ministers gave the green light last Friday includes, in this regard, that the amounts of the blueberry withdrawal aid will be 371,61 euros per 100 kilograms in the case of free distribution and, for other destinations, 278,71 euros per 100 kilograms.

The regulation modifies the national norm that regulates the communitarian aid of the sector of fruits and vegetables, whose value reaches every year the 220 million euros.
