Family Tree Farms announced the incorporation of Carla San Martin Burneo as European and commercial director of Chris Taylor as head of UK sales to its growing sales team in the UK and Europe.

Taylor has over 21 years of experience in the retail and fruit and vegetable sectors. He began his career at HJ Heinz in London, subsequently leading a strategy consultancy before moving into the fresh fruit and vegetable sector. He was UK citrus director at Muñoz, and subsequently, for five years, at Angus Soft Fruits, as commercial director of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries.

San Martín Burneo brings 17 years of experience in agricultural products, beginning with asparagus, avocados, and grapes, and then focusing on berries in 2016 with El Grupo Rocío. He subsequently joined Hortifrut in Peru and moved to the Netherlands in 2019 to lead its commercial efforts in Northern Europe for blueberries and raspberries.
