El UNITEC Group will be present for the the ninth consecutive time at the fair PMA Fresh Summit, programmed in Orlando for the 19 and 20 for October at 2018, taking with it all the innovation and excellence of its technologies, capable of producing important evolutionary changes in the fruit processing of the Horticultural Plants that rely on them.

On the occasion of the event, at the stand UNITEC will be exposed Unical 200 Cherry with Cherry Vision 3.0 and Uni 9.0 Pear system with Pears Sort 3 system, respectively for the electronic classification of the quality of the cherries and for the electronic classification of the quality of the pears.

The meeting in Orlando will be the ideal setting for further strengthen the importance in the US market of the innovations of the UNITEC Group, which has been present for some years with some of its subsidiaries, with the aim of being close to its Clients overseas.
In fact UNITEC is close to the Horticultural Centers around the world to make your business more efficient, reducing costs and increasing revenue.
Taking into account these specific objectives, the Group UNITEC designs and develops highly customized and integrated technologies, capable of reply effectively to the specific needs of the entire supply chain, from the field to the supermarket shelves.

Technology Uni 9.0 Pear with Pears Sort 3 for the classification of the internal and external quality of the pears, an authentic technological vanguard that will be exhibited at the stand UNITEC of the Orlando Fair is indeed an important piece for the construction of an ever closer relationship between UNITEC and the world of the United States.
The 16 of July of 2018, in the Central Hortofrutícola Diamond Fruit Growers, located in the Hood River Valley in the state of Oregon, has opened a installation of 18 tracks equipped with technology Uni 9.0 Pear with Pears Sort 3. This is the first installation in the world completely dedicated to the processing and classification of the quality of pears.

Scott Halliday, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Diamond Fruit Growers, during the opening ceremony, which was also attended by the President of the UNITEC Group, Angelo Benedetti, said that he considers the acquisition of his installation a "investment for a future of success".
His words prove to be very relevant and express what UNITEC continues to show with the results that its Clients have achieved over the years: investing in technology is the key to making a difference in the market and to assert itself with an important and lasting competitive advantage over time.

After a few months of the start-up of the installation, the first important results have already been achieved. In a note that they have recently issued, the Diamond Fruit Growers has declared:

We are very happy with how the fruit has processed so far. We aimed to change our previous production volume, which was placed around 600-650 bins dumps per shift.
With the new line, at the moment we are at 700-750 bins,
with some turns around the 800.
During one shift we were able to dump 912 bins

Greater efficiency, both in terms of reduction of processing times, and in terms of increased production capacity.

On the Orlando stage, close to technology Uni 9.0 Pear with Pears Sort 3 there is another great protagonist of the UNITEC stand: technology Cherry Vision 3.0 for the automatic classification of cherries.
The system Cherry Vision 3.0 it is an evolution of the system Cherry Vision 2, which has already given important results to several US Fruit and Vegetable Centers, such as those in California OG Packing, Morada Produce, M&R Packing and Podesta Packing, just to name a few.
All agreed that the technology Cherry Vision 2 by UNITEC It has helped them significantly to achieve their goals.

For example, the owner of the Central Podesta Packing, Fred Podesta, has stated:

This is our third project in collaboration with UNITEC
and thanks to them we are expanding. (...)
According to all our buyers that sell abroad, thanks to the UNITEC technology, we get Coherent Quality over time in each supply.
Thanks to UNITEC's Cherry Vision, we have entered many more markets
And our buyers have full confidence that the packages are completely homogeneous in terms of color, quality and size. (...)
We have acquired Customers overseas only because we use UNITEC technologies!

From these words it is possible to highlight that, thanks to the maximum reliability of the classification that the technology Cherry Vision by UNITEC guarantees, Podesta Packing can offer its customers fruit of homogeneous quality in each supply (Consistent quality in the package) and of homogeneous quality between one supply and the next (Quality consistent over time).
Thanks to the guarantee of supplies of Coherent Quality, in this way Podesta Packing Has got increase its attractiveness, consolidate the confidence of Consumers and therefore enter the most demanding and profitable markets, even in those that are far away from the place of production and processing.

Similar results in the United States have also been achieved by plants that aimed to improve the processing of fruit and the classification of the quality of their blueberries. One among all, AC foods, Horticultural Center with headquarters in Oregon and California, which, for its blueberries, has chosen the technology Blueberry Vision 2 by UNITEC.

We have seen advantages in cooperation with UNITEC
in terms of efficiency in the quality classification.
We have much more information about each blueberry that passes through the line. (...) We believe we have a huge advantage
for the fact of being able to reach a high level of reliability in the classification, and see advantages also in our current export business.

These are the words of Will Susich, Regional Manager of AC foods, which present a perfect symmetry with those of Fred Podesta: efficiency and reliability in the classification, advantages in the export business.

Statements like these fill the satifaction to UNITEC team that everyday, in the United States as in the rest of the world - Europe, South America, South Africa, the Far East ... - is committed, through the continuous search and innovation, to give Concrete results to his clients. Results in terms of improving the processing of pears, cherries and blueberries, as well as other types of fruit (green and yellow kiwifruit, fruit with stone, citrus fruits ...) and fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, peppers, aubergines ...).

These are the words of the President of the UNITEC Group, Angelo Benedetti: "The results achieved by various US Fruit and Vegetable Centers thanks to technologies UNITEC have contributed to increasing more and more our satisfaction, gratification and confidence in pursuing the path of technological innovation that generates concrete results for our customers ".
